Sonny Bono’s Career in Music
Sonny Bono’s career in music started when he first created the song, Things You Do To Me, which was recorded by Sam Crooke. At that time, he has been working under the label of Specialty Records and after the song became a hit, he then went to work with Phil Spector, a record producer. In the 1960′s Sonny Bono worked in promotions and at the same time, a percussionist.
During the mid 1970s, Sonny Bono also started becoming popular when he worked with his wife, Cher, in their own variety show in CBS. After four years, the variety show ended but returned in 1976 even after Cher and Sonny Bono has divorced.
Soon, Sonny Bono was not only known as a recording artist, producer, and host. He is also a politician. This career move has been brought about by his frustration in the government policies. But this did not last long because he died in 1998 in a skiing accident when he hit against a tree.
